Labor Day is over, the kids are getting ready to head back to school, and you can tell cooler weather is just around the corner. It’s always sad to say goodbye to summer but at least new menus at A Toute Heure provide something to look forward to!
Dennis and I won’t be getting there until next Friday (it’s Madeline’s first birthday so what better way to celebrate?), giving me a week to peruse the menu and agonize over what to order. Appetizer-wise, you can never go wrong with the pizza topped with local vegetables, cheese and a farm-fresh egg. But there’s also the warm broccoli salad, or the baked meatballs, or the beer battered cod… And I haven’t even mentioned the cheeses or oysters! The entrees truly have me stumped. How can you go wrong with scallops paired with black olive risotto and avgolemono sauce? But there are so many other delicious choices including lobster over linguini, braised chicken leg, steak frites, and mussel pots. If you stop by this month check back and let us know what you chose.
