As we enter the dog days of summer, A Toute Heure is rolling out their new lunch, dinner, and dessert menus for August. Dennis and I had dinner there last night and it was very difficult deciding among all of the delicious options. We ended up choosing the crab cake beignets and watermelon glazed pork belly for our appetizers. If you ever see pork belly on their menu make sure you order it. It nearly melts in your mouth and is a wonderful way to start any meal.
For main courses the options include scallops, fried jerk chicken, pork shoulder, steak frites, mussel pots, and eggplant vegetarian curry. Dennis went with the fried jerk chicken while I chose the curry. Both dishes were wonderful and I really felt like the curry highlighted the delicious summer produce that’s available now. We finished our meal with the fruit cobbler, warmed perfectly with a scoop of ice cream on top. Do your best to stop by A Toute Heure this month for lunch or dinner. At the rate this summer is flying by, September will be here before you know it!
